Bryan DeAngelis

Bryan DeAngelis is a partner at Penta, where he provides strategic counsel to clients based on nearly twenty years of experience working at the intersection of government, politics, and business. His expertise lies in financial services, corporate reputation, crisis and issue management, stakeholder persuasion, and public policy. Prior to joining Hamilton Place Strategies in 2019, Bryan was a senior director at a public affairs firm in D.C. where he advised Fortune 500 companies, major consumer brands, trade associations, and nonprofits. He was a member of the firm’s issue management, energy, and higher education practices and co-led the sports and entertainment practice. Bryan has been a trusted advisor to members of Congress and Democratic candidates throughout his career. He previously served as communications director and chief spokesperson for Senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn). In this role, Bryan worked closely with the White House, congressional leadership, and public interest groups to develop and execute an effective media strategy across several national issues, including the 2008 financial crisis, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the Affordable Care Act, and the Senator’s work on the Foreign Relations Committee.
