Laila Bera
Program Associate, Inclusive Financial Systems, The Aspen Institute Financial Security Program
Laila (she/her) is a Program Associate with Inclusive Financial Systems at the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program where she works to promote economic opportunity and mobility for all people through innovation. Her work includes developing a national strategy to safeguard US households against fraud and scams.
She first joined Aspen FSP as a Graduate Fellow while pursuing her Master of Science in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Quantitative Economics and Econometrics from Connecticut College.
Prior to joining Aspen FSP, she gained experience in a variety of roles such as a research intern at the World Bank Group and an analyst at an impact management consulting firm.
