Molly Wenig Rubenstein manages the Financial Security Program’s Task Force for Fraud and Scam Prevention at the Aspen Institute. Known for action-oriented pragmatism, diplomacy, and compassion, Molly’s work leverages innovative ventures, human-centered design thinking, and community organizing to address challenges to social equity, financial security, and global health. Molly has managed multi-stakeholder groups crafting innovative solutions to complex problems in a variety of sectors. As Executive Director at the Artisan’s Asylum, she built and nurtured strategic partnerships across the greater Boston entrepreneurial ecosystem and worked with the Somerville business community and city planning department on initiatives to protect the fabrication arts in a swiftly evolving city.  As Innovation Ecosystems Manager at MIT’s D-Lab, she worked with government, philanthropic, and venture-backed groups across the Global South on initiatives to increase opportunities for local innovators and entrepreneurs. Recently she has been managing  a Special Interest Group for the American Telemedicine Association, facilitating efforts to level the playing field for reimbursement and regulation of home diagnostic testing and patient sample collection. Molly holds a Bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
