Molly Wenig Rubenstein manages the Financial Security Program’s Task Force for Fraud and Scam Prevention at the Aspen Institute. Known for action-oriented pragmatism, clear communication, and systematic organization, Molly’s work leverages innovation, human-centered design thinking, and community-building to address challenges to social equity, financial security, and global health.
Molly has managed multi-stakeholder groups crafting innovative solutions to complex problems in a variety of sectors: facilitating efforts to level the regulatory and reimbursement playing field for home diagnostic testing and patient sample collection devices; working with government, philanthropic, and venture-backed groups across the Global South to increase opportunities for local innovators and entrepreneurs; uniting national and international organizations to support grassroots fabrication efforts to address global supply shortages during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic; and working with the Somerville business community and city planning department on initiatives to protect the fabrication arts in a swiftly evolving city.
